Wednesday Night....APRIL FOOLS!

Ok so the big news tonight is that Temple is not the number 6 party school in the nation. APRIL FOOLS! Dr. John Blutarsky of the Princeton Review? John Blutarsky was the name of the late John Belushi's character in Animal House. If you were fooled, don't worry, I got e-mails from a number of students and even a Temple administrator or two, so you are only averagely gullible. If you weren't fooled, well hell, you should join the honors college!

In other big news, the C&W released our analysis on the Presidential debates and announced Kylie Patterson of TU Action as the winner by a close score of 7.5 to 7.

As reported yesterday, Temple University journalism department's own Shannon McDonald's story about a racist philly cop has gotten big. As a result Officer Thrasher has now been desked. Hooray for the new era of journalism where a college student can dish out social justice via the web. Double hooray that she goes to Temple. Check out Philebrity's scoop for a video of McDonald.

In other news, Temple is again made proud, this time by alumnus Bill Cosby. "Bill Cosby will receive the nation's top humor prize from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a prolific career that often focused on race relations and breaking down stereotypes, the center announced Wednesday."

Also the Temple News blog Broad & Cecil is giving away some free shit, aka tickets to advance showing of movies. Don't know if they have any left but it's worth a check.

In sports, as predicted, the showdown with our men's tennis team and Vilenova was postponed.

Hoot hoot, see you in the morning.
