Today is Tuesday, April 7 and the C&W has your back.
Voting: Today and tomorrow are the voting days for next year's Temple Student Government tickets. Check out C&W's voting post here for information on the tickets. Vote here.
Weather: Mid to high 40's and partly cloudy all day, with a chance of rain in the early evening along with temperature drops into the 30's overnight. C&W suggests a hoodie.
Good stuff from the Temple Today:
Writing Center workshop: "Effectively Integrating Paraphrases and Direct Quotes": 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuttleman Learning Center, room 201D. Through an interactive exercise, this workshop will review why and how you can use source material to support your ideas. Open to: Students, faculty and staff.
The Cherry and What should probably attend this workshop.
Open registration: "Memorable Moments: Italy": Event held April 21. Each month the Office of Student Activities offers an off-campus trip to a local ethnic restaurant where students will receive a three-course meal for free, providing them with an opportunity to enjoy the food and culture of a different country. Transportation is provided. Space is limited. Register by stopping by the Office of Student Activities in room 219M of the Howard Gittis Student Center, or by e-mailing sac@temple.edu.
Free food and transportation to an Italian joint? Count me in. Cure the post-4/20 munchies.
Sports at home: Men's tennis vs. Rider, 4 pm @ the pav.
