Ditch the lunch trays

Interesting article on philly.com today.

Want to make an easy change in your daily routine that'll help the environment? By not using lunch trays, universities have found that they have 22% less food waste and save thousands of gallons of water a month.

Yup, that means just carrying the plates, and having to possibly make..dun dun dunnnn.. two trips. I also imagine it improves your balance and gives you some beastly forearms, so it's a win-win situation.

Plus, by the sounds of the article, TU is eventually gonna ditch trays anyways, so might as well start practicing.

"Sodexo district manager Bryan Sparks said the food contractor had removed trays at Rowan and Montclair State Universities, keeping them at Temple only because the dishwasher conveyor there needs to be reengineered to work without them."
