Thank Hooter it's Friday

Alright fellow Owls got some quick things to go over for today.

First, we have to tell you to check back late this afternoon. We have a C&W 1-on-1 interview with Shannon McDonald, Temple University journalism student extraordinaire, and also a weekend look out.

Weather: Mid 50's, reaching into the 60's in the afternoon, and rainy all day. Chance of thunderstorms around 5, but it's looking like things should clear up just in time for party time. Just look at this cluster. Oh yesterday, where did you go?

Temple Today Update:

"Faculty Dance Concert: TODAY & SATURDAY, 8 p.m. Conwell Hall, fifth floor, Conwell Dance Theater. Featuring works by dance faculty Marionela Boan, Eva Gholson, Luke Kahlich, Kun-Yang Lin, Merian Soto, Kariamu Welsh and guest artist Chris Elam of Misnomer Dance Theater. Visit the TUcalendar for ticket information. "
This may not have the comedic allure that watching your high school teachers romp across the stage had, but it could still be cool.

"The Spirit": Student Center, the Reel. Film runs through April 9; visit www.temple.edu/mcpb for additional showtimes. Tickets: $2 with OWLcard; $4 all others.
TODAY & SATURDAY: 4:30, 7:30 & 10:30 p.m.
SUNDAY: 4:30 & 7:30 p.m. "
An absolutely abysmal movie at 14% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Why don't they just play the dark knight for a semester?

""Conference on Global Justice": TODAY, 4-5:45 p.m., and SATURDAY, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 1810 Liacouras Walk, conference suite. Presented by the Political Science Department, the Center for the Humanities and the Center for Global Ethics & Politics. Details available online. "
In attendance: Batman, Superman, Wonder woman, and the rest of the gang.

Sports at home: Women's Lacrosse vs. George Washington at 3 pm, Geasey field.

The phils are back in town, and so is Pat Burrell! That's right, the Phillies start a 2 game preseason series with the Rays today at 7:05, leading up to Sunday's big home opener. World Phuckin' Champions. Also, Pat's back, which means everyone bar hopping in center city should look out for a big bear of a man dishing out free shots and sweeping babes of their feet, literally.

And it's Friday, which means net night at the pav from 7-10. Go indulge in some volleyball or badminton, and watch as all the disgruntled b-ball players throw you death looks as they vacate the court.

That's all folks, remember to check back later for the interview with McDonald and your lookout for the weekend.
