Thirsty Thursday!

Welcome to the second Thursty Thirsday night of the year!! Today was a slow news day, as evident by the complete lack of new posts here, at the Temple News, Temple Times, BAC, etc.

However, a few articles did catch our eye on google.

First, check out this article on Governer Rendell's appointments. Oh look, he reappointed Michael Williams back to Temple University's board of trustees. Which controls tuition. Oh no Rendell, we're not state related at all. Pssht.

Also, peep the bottom of this article on the 76ers, where it says Dionte Christmas has been invited to the 76ers pre-season training camp. There's still hope!

Take a look at this article to find out how a group of researchers, including some from Temple's school of pharmacology, found out that, in fact, fruits and veggies are good for you!! Who knew? Told you you were wrong, Mom! Wonder how much that one cost?

Finally, make sure to head over to the Reel this week, as the awesome animated movie UP started today and lasts through next Wednesday.

That's all folks, catch you in the morning. Now go get that drank!

Speaking of the Reel, I thought popcorn always used to be free? Now it's $1 -- or maybe I was just imagining that. Either way, I can't wait to drag my butt over to see UP this week.
