Good shtuff from the Temple Today:
TAUP ratifies contract: 1. There has been a long standing contract dispute between teachers and the University. 2. Last month, the Temple Association of University Professors (TAUP) negotiating committee and the University came up with a plan that both agreed on 3. Yesterday, TAUP officially voted and accepted the contract 4. Now, only the executive committee of the board of trustees needs to vote and it's all gravy.
Go-karts and mini-golf at Ambler?!?! That sounds fun as hell. I know we had pajama bowling, and that's pretty cool, but go-karts!
Women in medicine: Are you a woman? Do you want to work in medicine? Are you concerned about the mixture of these two things? Do you feel like traveling to the health sciences campus? If you answered yes to all of these questions, which we know you did not for the last, then you may want to attend this panel discussion about the challenges women face in medicine at the Health Sciences campus at 7 p.m.
